I know what you mean about the muscle memory. I used to be a SIG guy before I bought a Glock and still wasn't fully converted. Then the dept started issuing Glock 22's. Their gun, they did the maintenance and supplied the ammo for qualification, training and practice. At this point, I have easily shot 10K-20K+ rounds downrange from various Glocks and muscle memory is something I could do in my sleep almost. Glock 17 5th gen, G30SF, 42, 43, 27--They all hold, point and shoot similar for me. I haven't picked up a G19 yet but maybe someday. I'm still more focused on hunting rifles.

The only time I used a 19 was during the 7 months of academy. As the academy required that you use their pistol.
I had previously carried a g17 while working for an armored truck company and knew that once I was through academy that I would be switching back to the 17, it just fits me better.
My department allows several Glock models, Sig's, h&ks, s&w.. I can't ever imagine myself going away from the Glock 17 though.

Sorry Hardcast but I have to agree with the other long time members here. Posting all those pics of manuals and others was really unnecessary and results in excessive scrolling to go through a useless waste of data space.
