Default Cleaning dies

How and how often should reloading (sizing) dies be cleaned? Do bullet seating dies need cleaning?

I never thought about this !
I just every now and then spray stuff like Brake Clean into mine and flush the old case lube out of them ?

When I start getting dents in the shoulders of my resized brass, its time to clean the lube out of the sizing die. It's also time to cut back on the lube.

Air brake cleaner and a quick shot of case slick or one shot and you are good to go.

Way back when i first started reloading I would clean my sizing die a couple times a year with brake cleaner or engine starting fluid. But that was when the case lube was that gooey gel like stuff. Then I got smart and bought Hornady One Shot. Cleaned the sizing die thoroughly and occasionally give it a shot of the Hornady. In the past 15 years of so since this product came out I haven't cleaned my sizing die once.
