I’m new to the site. I was wondering if anyone has worked up any loads for a 300wsm auto. I have been trying but with no luck. I want to use this gun to hunt with, all the loads I have tried do not group. I want to use Barnes Bullets so that is what I have been trying. Thanks for any help. I have most powders. Best group so far is 3” at 100.

There's a good number of handloaders on here who will undoubtedly point you toward possible modifications to your loads.
But from what I've heard, some rifles flat out can't seem to shoot Barnes coppers well. Even assuming there's no pitting in the barrel, damage to the chamber, or crown damage, you still may end up having to throw in the towel and try different bullets (Nosler Accubond? Partition?). Are you in Calif. or some state where you're obliged to shoot copper? What game are you hunting?
You may be able to get fantastic performance with much cheaper bullets.
For deer and black bear at less than 400 yards, I see no reason you cannot do splendidly with soft points, to be honest. I know, it's boring and bucks our wonderful marketing environment, but seriously, depending on your answers to the above questions, you may have no reason to shoot anything other than Core-Lokt, Federal Hi-Shok SP, or maybe Hornady Interlocks.

I live in ms. I like the Barnes but am willing to try something different. I would to shoot a 150gr. Ive tried 150 165 and 180 in the Barnes with rl17 imr4350 with no luck. Just thought about asking people if they have any experience with the 300wsm browning.

I have no direct experience with either the Browning BAR Stalker or the 300 WSM but I do have a fair bit of experience with loading the mono-metal bullets. Admittedly the mono bullets are not my favorite 308 caliber bullets but I sometimes use the 168 grain pill in a 30-06 or 300 WM. They really like being seated well away from the lands to shoot well. You might have an accuracy problem If you are not seating them .05" to .10" off, maybe more.

Shots are around 200yards. I deer hunt. I’ve tried differs powders. When loading the Barnes Bullets, Barnes wants them a min 50k off the lands so I tried that with no luck. The powders I’ve tried are imr 4350, rl17 and 4064. I’m just trying to get it dialed in at 100 yards but the best so far is around 3” group. I have a browning bolt gun in a 7-08 shooting rl 19 with Barnes 120 tsx grouping .410 at 100

Big Uncle's advice a few years ago was the tipping point for me to finally start enjoying mono-metal bullets. I'd been loading them like lead core bullets before that, and never getting the precision I expected. Run 60thou off of the lands, give or take, and everything runs a heck of a lot better (0.05-0.1)... I've not found them to be the most accurate bullet for my rifles, but I also haven't found many hunting bullets to be the most accurate bullet.
How does the 300 WSM BAR feed for you? We always hear how steep shoulders in short and fat cartridges don't feed well, but I've never had such problem myself. I wasn't aware they made the BAR's in the WSM's, sounds like a pretty wicked kitten!

The gun feeds well, have not had a jam yet. Cycles smooth. This is my first auto loader in a rifle. Nice gun but what good is it if you can not hit what your aiming at, lol. Have a 270wsm in a Remington 700 cdl, was loading 63.5 grains of rl19 with a Barnes 130 tsx and was getting under a 3/4 group at 100 then Barnes change the ogive an messed it all up. They say coal should be 2.830 and I can’t even chamber that cause it is pushing the bullet into lands so I’m starting all over with it. No luck with it either yet. It is a bolt gun so I think I will get it back, I hope
