Good advice! Barnes recommends .050 off the lands as the starting point with their bullets. I think Nosler also recommends that with their Etips.
I use to literally pull my hair out stressing with seating depth but I stopped that long ago. I personally start at .010 off the lands with all my rifles and usually don't move from there. I've found that I can generally find a very accurate load by juggling components and trying various powders rather than pulling my hair out over seating depth. I guess it's personal preference and everyone has their own technique but this works for me.

That seems like a bold starting point. Glad it works for you but less experienced guys might have some trouble starting that close to the lands for a hunting rifle.
