I also posted this in the whitetail forum. I have a 243 Win that I developed loads with both 100 gr Sierra Pro Hunters and 100 gr Speer Grand Slams. Both loads are near max, both shoot 1 MOA, both shoot to the same point of impact. I have used Pro Hunters in a 270 with good results on whitetails. No on game experience with the Grand Slams. 1) Any real world game experience with Grand Slams out there? 2) Which bullet would you use?

take your pick, they will both serve you well for whitetails

As RR said...both will get er done for ya! I have always had the best luck with 100g bullets in the 243...great combo.

Yep,the 100 grain Sierra has my vote. We,my sons and i,have used them on one shot take downs of Pa. deer.

If your rifle likes the grand slam, use it. They dig deep and don't come apart. I love em.
