Any one have some loads for the338 using 230 gr. fail safe bullets, and 210 partitons.

My hunting loads pushing 210 NP bullets are right at the published maximums with IMR 4350 and RL 19. The RL 19 loads ran a few fps faster over the chronograph, and the 4350 loads were very slightly more accurate - both are good hunting loads. Many powders were tried (W760, RL15, IMR4831, etc.) but I keep coming back to IMR4350 and RL19.

I have had several .338 WM rifles and they measure different max OAL. I have found my best hunting loads seat the bullet so that it is approximately .015" to .02" off of the lands.
