My favorite magnum powder is H110/W296. I've also burned up a lot of AA 9 with good results. I steer clear of fast burning powders just because I found brass life to be much longer with slow burning powders. For that reason I personally wouldn't use 231.

Thanks tcshooter, I'll add your input to the list of suggestions and put an eye out for those powders on the shelves of my favorite gun shops.

Blue dot is now not recommended for use in the 41 mag. I use 2400 for hunting.

You will find that the 41 mag likes a heavy crimp.
