Default Remington's core lokt ultra bonded

Any shooters try this bullet factory or hand loads;interested in the 140 gr. .270 win. Does it hold up to manufacture 's claims of 95% bullet weight retention and 2x bullet mushroom?

I doubt anybody has tried it. I costs too much. People who reload will use an accubond or interbond, because Nosler and Hornady seem to actually be interested in selling premium components compared to Remington. Remington as far as I remember, is priced higher, and they came late to the bonded bullet party, so people are going to stay with cheaper stuff that is proven.

Anybody that shoots it in a factory load won't be in this forum.

I have tried it in my 223(62gr). Shot the bullet into a spruce log at 25 yards it had 7 inches of penetration. Here's the recovered bullet a perfect mushroom.
