Default 25-06 casing question.

Problem: I have about a 100 25-06 casings that I am prepping for re-load. Some are first time "store baughts", some are being reloaded for the second/third time. This is my first time loading 25-06. The books all call for trimmming the casings to 2.494, but all of them are shorter than that by as much as .010! Most are closer to 2.485. Even after resizing and de-primmering . . . they are less than 2.494.
Can I trim all of them to 2.48? Or how close should I get?

If they are all close to the trim length no worries. if you are going to imply a crimp in the bullet setting operation you might want them all to be the same length.
