I have not tried the noslers in 110 but I have tried the hornady vmax 110 gr with 54.8gr of imr 4831, and I all I can say is "WOW." Yesterday I shot .411 groups @ 100 yards in 7-12 mph winds. I had one flyer but I'm sure I can get these groups smaller in calm conditions.

LoL Im not so sure Id trust that thing to not make a mess and a lot of headaches at 3300-3400 or so and close range on deer. Has anyone used it for that? I thought about trying it but...lol.

It can't make more of a mess then a 130gr Berger...

Being bonded it should prolly do pretty okay I would think...

Jeepkid, I don't want to steal this thread but awhile back you commented that you had tried tried powermax bullets in your .270. I bought 2 boxes today and was wondering if you used them on any game? They look like they will flatten anything. I'll take them to the range in a few weeks to see how they will fly.

nosler CLAIMS the accubond wont expand more than 2x original diameter...so the splat and mess factor may not be great with them...

im shooting them in my whelen just for that reason...they say they expand rapidly upto 2x its original diameter and then hold together and penetrate...sounds ideal for my deer/bear rifle...but we'll see...i want something that expands rapidly to anchor deer but tought enough to go drop a big ole bruin...and coming from a pump, i really like plastic tipped bullets...

Yep I have been shooting them and they shoot awesome! But unfortunately I haven't tried them on game yet...

I guess I should do some water jug tests with them one of these days...
