Default 410/45 shot shells

I have played with some brass cased 2" 410s in a single shot and roll crimped Colt cases for my Blackhawk. So now I'm thinking a roll crimped 1.5"410 for the Colts. Is there a cheaper tool than than the Balistic products roll crimp tool?
Pictures of the tool in any gauge ?
Really just toying with it at the moment ?

Don't know. I use cut down 410 shells, cut to 45 colt length and insert speer 44 cal shot capsuls. Use load data from speer for the 44 cal capsuls. Works fin in my blackhawks. Speer also now makes shot capsuls for 45 cal, I havent used any yet because I've had trouble finding them.

Thanks I fooled around with a few last night and managed a not bad looking crimp with a wad cutter seating ball in my 44 mag die. I cut the 410 cases at just short of cylinder length. I am thiking that the $30 for the roll crimp might not be so bad ,but how do I make my drill press run backwords to use it (midway tool discription of use).

I have a couple of the BPI roll crimp tools (12 ga and .410). I don't run my drill press backward; the crimps are fine. The big problem with using it in a drill press is crushing the case. With all that leverage, you have to go slowly.
