Guess I'm just a loner.Never thought about jumping on the "new improved ship".The old Noslers do just fine,I keep my personel effective range down to short distance so I don't have the need for NBT's.I have some OLD 25 cal Noslers in 115 gr that have machine marks that have worked on a speed goat and a few yotes out the other side of 400 so I shoot them spareingly. Now have to buy 117gr.!

I had heard some horror stories bout BTs from various hunters. I still loaded some up in
my 25-06, 30-06 and 6.5JDJ.
So far so good.
Don't know about targets, but hunting accuracy is no different than any other bullet I load and shoot.
Lethality is no different either so far.

BT's are my deer sized game bullet, no problems. 150's shoot extremely well in my rem mag and accounted for a whitetail buck this weekend. Wasn't the longest of shots under 200, 1/4 away taking out the lungs and hitting the opposite shoulder. Some damage resulted but it put the mature whitetail on the dirt like many others before him. Managed only a few staggered steps before piling up. Also used on my antelope buck this year, 438yards, broadside and he went straight down. So still on the wagon...:)!

FWIW pics of the 2 critters taken this year with BT's.

I think it has more to do with impact velocities than anything. I have some 120's loaded up for my 7-08 but have yet to try them. I have always been a fan of the Honady BTSP. But I shot my first deer with my new 7-08 using 139 gr honady BTSP, not all that impressed, penciled in and out through both shoulders, she did pile up within 15 yds though so I cant complain. I also used them on a hog, busted one leg on entry , 2 ribs and exited through 1 rib, hog went 30 yds.
I am going to try these 120 BT's I have loaded up. I'll let you know results when it happens

I like them for their accuracy and for how fast they open up in small game like deer. The exit hole they leave sure wastes a lot of meat but they drop light game like Thor's Hammer.

I shoot the 100 grain Nosler BT. out of my 25-06 and have had awesome results on deer. perfect transfer of energy to target with usually only one hole and a quick clean kill resulting.
