Briman, GI ' 06 brass usually requires a charge reduction of about 2 grains, if using GI powder, like 4895. Gov' t National Match brass is at least as good as any U.S. made commercial brass, maybe better!! Of course, a lot depends on how many times it has been fired, if at all, and how it has been treated/handled!!

i' ve been reloading miitary brass for 20 years and have never had any problems loading the same as commercial brass. i tend to use military brass more often than commercial brass.
i usually pop out the primer then take a small sharp knife and cut off the primer ring. it' s a long process but i like the way my military brass shoots.
oh yeah i also use IMR 4350.
