Please tell me your experiences withthe Barnes 130 Triple Shocksin rifles like the 300 Winchester Magnum and 30-06.

I've had excellent results with the Barnes 130gr TSX in my Rem 700 30.06. It took a little time and patience as well as load development but once i found the load it shoots with very good accuracy and really does a number on whitetails here in NC. The main problem i had was trying to load these bullets at .010 off the lands like i do with other bullets but these wouldn't shoot with very good accuracy seated at that distance. Once iseated them at .050 as Barnes recommends things begin tocome together and all i had to do then was find the right load. Here's a link to a targetofthe load i ended up with.

I use the 150gr TSX in 30-06 loaded with IMR 3031 @ 41.0.

Loaded this up for young son to hunt Black Bear this spring.
