308 load not burning all of the powder?

Yeah, I have never had a problem with CCI primers in the past. I have shot a couple thousand rounds with them so far and this is the first time that I have experienced any trouble at all. I might have to give that Reloader 15 a try. Is that stuff any good in the 30-30?

My current favorite 308 load is 165 gr Corelokt (or 170 gr round nose Corelokt), 46.5 grs Varget, CCI 250 primers in Lapua brass and has accounted for 4 pigs in the last month. I am shooting them out of a 19.75" Blaser R-93 Tracker barrel, and in several hundred rounds, I have had no problem with powder not burning. Note that I am in Texas where the humidity is higher (75%+/-), and the temperture is in the 40-50's.

I have read a few well known people reference to using magnum primers when the temperatures drop below freezing. Layne Simpson is one that comes to mind. I will just keep an eye on this problem and when the temperatures warm up I will shoot the rest of this lot of ammo and see if I still get the flakes of unburnt powder. I know that this load works since I have shot it quite a bit in my other gun.
