Which Federal brass where they using though? The thick military stuff, or the consumer stuff? The military stuff is supposed to be thicker and pretty much top of the line. They probably used the consumer end stuff since the military would have been once fired.

They tested fed military, plated, and "plain". The plain faired the best. The military failed almost last behind norma.

nosler, which is junk, no consistancy at all, and cant handle nearly as much pressure as rem. I was blowing primers in noslers in loads that I used to fireform the rem brass with.

Nosler failed after 10 shots I believe, but he found nosler gave the best velocity std dev. and best accuracy. Go figure.

Its justa mag article but found it interesting, that this guy litterly shot 2000 rounds for the article and did such in depth research. Its the most research I have ever seen done on an article.
