Stubble,
Here is my two cents on Noslers "new" reloading guide. I spoke with them at the shooter supply store in Bend the other day and had some questions about the 30-378 loads in the book. They list RL-22 as their most accurate powder. Having done a lot of load development with that gun I knew that the most accurate powder was RL- 25. So I asked them,"why do you not have RL 25 in your book for the 30-378?" He wasn't sure so I stuck around and did some digging. Come to find out, they are using RL 25 in their Nosler Custom ammo. He wouldn't tell me the charge but he did say it was RL 25.
This bugs me. If their goal is to produce the best knowledge to your customers why hold back. For what, a small profit for those buying nosler custom ammo in 30-378? That book for that reason is worth nothing. Thats my rant.

In your particular gun perhaps, but in another rifle of the same brand and exact model, another powder might be more accurate.

I think nosler is holding on to what they think is a secret. Why use RL25 in custom ammo and say RL 22 is the best in the book. It doesn't make sense.

Like Stubble said, it just depends on the gun. In my buds 30-378 R22 and H1000 are way more accurate than R25....you just can't generalize and say one powder is the MOST accurate. Brett
