I don' t know wether this recall powder was in the last 6 months or not???I bought a can to try in my Rem 260 sometime last year, must have been in the spring or early summer, when Hornady came out with the 129 SST' s.I loaded up severl rounds to try and then seen the recall,so I called and the fellow I talked to,because the lot tag had come off the bottom of the container( checked all the cans the dealer had and there was not a lot number on any of them)the lot # is on a white tag glued on the bottom of the container,so he called the dealer where I had bought it and going through his invoices figured mine was safe to shoot. Then he called me back and said it was ok to shoot.
All of this was in a couple of hours not having to wait days on their return info.Very good company reponse.
And the 260 and the 129 SST' s shot very well with the powder.
