My girlfriend shoot's the 30 carbine in an Encore for her deer rifle. I had trouble finding brass also. I just bought some cheap factory ammo and let her shoot it all up. It was the cheapest and easiest way I could find.

Good luck finding some used brass. Some one should have some. Tom.

Dumb question but have you tried Midway, Graff's or Midsouth? I'm sure one of those guys should have them.

You're right AF. It is getting mighty hard to find. Makes me sick to think I used to have couple thousand cases. Anyway, you'll be lucky to find any once fired but this is a good place to ask. Maybe somebody will help you out. Otherwise, as has been suggested, it's gonna be Midway. There is or was some fairly reasonable bulk ammo for it but be dang sure if you buy some surplus loaded stuff that it's not berdan primed.

Since this is for a friend, just tell him to bite the bullet and get him to order cases from Midway.

Here you go-Midway indicates it's available in quantities up to boxes of 2000.

I have some carbine brass that I will part with. I'll let you know how many rounds and what I need for them. Don't panic, I'm ex-airforce also,(68 to 72). It was a good place to grow up in as I was only 17 went I joined.

I'll be in touch.

I own a M1 carbine. I can find .30 carbine shells here pretty easy. I bought a box from Bass Pro just the other day.
