Can it be done, or should it be done. I want to be able to load very accurate .44 mag rounds for hunting and target shooting, but I have to shoot reduced loads for CAS, less than 1000fps (preferably less than 800) which is kinda a waste of space in a mag case, so I have been shooting a bunch of spcl's, I'd like to get one set of dies that would reload both, without hurting my accuracy and consistency in the mags.
Screw the 10 ring, keep them in the zero!!!

You can load .44 Mag. ammo with .44 Special dies and .357 ammo with .38 Special dies, but not vice-versa. The longer dies are too long to crimp the shorter cases.

I just bought the Lee Deluxe Pistol Die Set for 44spl / 44mag. It comes with the seperate crimp die. They're carbide too. The whole package cost less than 30 bucks from midway. The 44mag loads I made shoot fine. Midway also got it to me in 3 days using normal shipping! I don't have any 44spl brass to load, but Lee says it'll load them. Just remember to back the seater die out an extra turn or turn and a half for the mag loads (the directions don't mention that and failing to do so will crush your case.)
