I was given a Texan Reloader new in the box. I used to load a little and would like to get back into it. First off, will all dies fit this press? Secondly...are there any advantages to a new reloader over this one? It is probably 30 years old or so.
I plan on messing with loading 223's. Are they a picky caliber to load or not. How 'bout 25-06 or 6mm?
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks!!!

Pro-Line,
I'm not familiar with the Texan presses. If it has the standard 7/8-14 threads any of standard dies should work.
As far as .223, 6mm, and 25-06 they are all fairly easy to load. Some of the foriegn .223 brass you need to beware of tight primer pockets. If you stick with Win, Fed, or Rem. brass you shouldn't have to worry about it. PMC and S&B brass is the ones to watch on the primer pockets.
