Default Loading 204

I ran into another little snag that I hadn't thought about. How are you 204 guys trimming your cases? I have a Lee case trimmer, but Lee doesn't make a shell holder/length gauge for the 204. Will the 222 Rem work being that it is the same trim length and the parent case for the 204. I was thinking that the diameter of the length gauge would be a bit too large. Help please!! So far I have hit snag after snag; hopefully this will be the last one.

i think the parent case for the 204 is the 222mag not the 222rem.it is longer than the 223.

I don't guess I see the problem. Your reloaders manual shoud state the "trim to" length. The shell holder is the same as the 222 mag. I'm not fimiliar with the Lee case trimmer so maybe I'm missing something. T

The guy has one of these cheap jobs you stick in the drill. And they don't have one for a 204 yet.

my suggestion is to get a real trimmer. Buy a RCBS pilot for a 204, and trim.
