RE: Barnes X or XLC in Swedish Mauser?

Federal 210 gm primer is a large rifle match primer, meaning that the production specs and quality control on these primers are within tight specs for uniform performance. I've never seen the large rifle match on the shelves around me though just the 215gm's. Oberndorf is perhaps the rarest of the swedes and to hear that it was cut down breaks my heart. The swedes are incredibly accurate even with a # 3 disk. I own 2 Carl Gustov's a Husqvarna and a Husqvarna Commercial. With open sights all three are capable of sub 2" grps if I do my part. The Husqvarna commercial is scoped and with a Timney trigger is sub moa with 85 gr Sierra varminters, 129 and 140 gr hornady interloks. I will start working with coated bullets as soon as the weather breaks, hopefully soon. As far as seating off the lands I doubt very much if you'll be able to get anywhere near them. Seat far enough out to ensure reliable feeding from the magazine to the chamber. Be sure to leave enough room in the magazine so you don't damage the tips. Even though this gun can probably handle the higher chamber pressures readily, I suggest working up to the most accurate and leave it there, the animal can't tell the difference of a 100 fps or so.
