I'm going to start reloading soon and i shoot a 300 Win Mag, I was wondering what type of powder to use and i want to shoot Nosler Ballistic Tips bullets. If any of u guy shoot a 300 win nosler ballistic tip how many grains powder would u reccomend. i've been reading some books but i was jw what u guys used.or if u perfer a diferent bullet what would it be. Thanks

I like IMR4831 in my 300 Win Mag.

I use IMR 4350 for my 300 win but I don't shoot noslers Bt only Barnes X bullets and I don't know if the loads would be the same.

I use IMR 4350 also for the .300 and get great accuracy...<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
