Default tell me about chronographs!

just ordered the shooting chrony beta master chronograph.it was $129 at midway, and with a keg of surplus powder.the $80 saved by using surplus powder nearly made the chrony a free item.anyone have any experiences with shooting chrony or chronographs in general? thanks for the replies.

I use the Chrony myself and am quite happy with it.The chrony's only weakness compared to the high end units such as ohler is that they are more light sensitive and can be tempermental in some light conditions.I call the chronogragh the lie detector because it tells you how fast a bullet is really travelling which is usually different than the velocity in the loading manuals.

The shooting Chrony is a reloaders dream.....get a tripod for it so that you can set it where you want it.

It's one of the best reloading tools I ever bought.
