Just picked up a can this week and he had more.Federal primers is whats hard to get here.(NC)
The fellow at the gun shop said he talked to a fed rep and was told that they were supplying the military, home defense, and law enforsement and couln't keep up with them????So may be awhile before we see any more fed large rifle primers.

thats funny because I talked to an ATK rep and he said that CCI was supplying the primers to all the ammo manufacturers that are contracted to make military ammo. and also lake city is supplying the brass and various other manufacturers are supplying propellant and projectiles. the lack of availability on federal primers would have to be related to some other issue more like logistics and shipping back log.

All I know is what the shop owner told me.I do know that he did have plenty of CCI in the new black (might be dark blueboxes) I got a case of then and wlr (last case he had)and all the loose boxes of fed 210 he had.Stopped at gander mtn friday and they didn't even have any loose (100 count ) boxes of fed 210,the only ones they had in a case (1000 ) were the cci in the new box. They only had 2 boxes (100) of rem 9 1/2 and I got them.
Maybe they are getting ready to create a shortage like they did awhile back????Some of the fellows I shoot with still have some they bought up then.I allready shot up all I had stocked up.

John...
I tried to look up your location on your page, but it's not listed. There's a shop 20 minutes from my house that has plenty of benchmark. I just bought another pound. The shop is in Suffern, NY. If you live near here, you can get the powder.
