Does anyone reload for .300 Weatherby Mag?
I just got a smoking good deal on a Ruger No. 1 in .300 Weatherby and when I started looking at ammo I decided it might be time to break out the press and do some loading.
I’m looking mostly for loads in the 165 to 180 grain bullets but I would like to hear about other loads also.
Thanks…

RE: Does anyone reload for .300 Weatherby Mag?
The only thing I ever killed with my .300 WBY was a buck 3 years ago. I reloaded 150gr. Hornady SST's and the deer just "fliped" and did a 360` and that was it! I had little meat damage also...

Thanks for the replies...
I thought that maybe more people would reload for this cartridge since the price per shell runs anywhere from $1.50 to $3.00 per shot. I figured that I could load the high-end stuff for the buck-fifty price and get more shooting time in on the gun. I’ll get into the books and see what jumps out at me...
