Default Reloading or shooting problem

Got a real strange problen. Same load, everything identical. Shoot one day three different 3 shot groups. Groups average .636". Shoot 2 days later and the groups not only go out to 1 1/2", but point of impact moves 2". Only thing different was the temperature. 45 one day and 70 the next. Help

First thing I would look at is your cleaning regiment. When did you(or did you) clean the bore? Before or after? Which session?

Second, the scope.Tom.

Is your barrel free-floated? Perhaps temp./weather conditions are causing a pressure point somewhere that can change harmonics and POI.

Check your scope mounts to insure everything is tight. If problem persists, change the scope and see what happens. Scopes do fail. Good luck and regards, Rick.

Thanks to all of you guys for your comments. I will check all of the things that were mentioned. The wind was not bad at all as I recall, but I was not using flags at the 100 yard range that I was shoting.

Are you using flags, what was the wind like on the seperate days?
My thoughts exactly. Wind is usually the culprit. Give a eratic cross wind of even 5 MPH and your groups can spread significantly.
