Anyone tried these?
They sell the already loaded bullets and a kit of, I think 5 different "grits", that you load yourself and then progressively pressure/fire lap your barrel.
I have a new barrel that probably doesn't need the treatment. But, I have heard mostly good about it. I figuredI would try several loads and if the barrel needed it, give the Tubb system a try and do a before and after comparison.
Anybody here tried them already and have any suggestions, experiences or ideas?
Thanks for any input.

I have, and ruined a bore of a 300RUM over it. If you really want a set of bullets, let me know and I can sell them to you for 1/2 price. Maybe I pushed them to hard. I used H1000 starting load. Maybe I should have used something like a weak 4350 load. My barrel was extremely rough. It copper fouled greatly. It would shoot accurately for 10 rounds, but then started throwing flyers. After I ran thru the round of bullets, cleaning each time, my accuracy went to 1.8MOA, and I couldn't get it back to shooting well. I bore scoped it and all the lands were rounded off.

Thanks for the replys guys,
I wasn't planning on using them other than a last resort. But, having warnings on use and misuse is very good.
Appreciate the info.

I'm going to try it on my 7mm mag. But, I am going to buy the loaded ammo set instead of the ones you load yourself. If it ruins it, I will have an excuse to re-barrel with a #3 or 4 fluted Krieger.

I thought I already posted on this topic. My experience has been very good. You need to read the web page and talk to their experienced techies.......Hey, this is the word champion we are talking about! I have used the system and they work up to 45% on groups. http://www.davidtubb.com/finalfinish.html
All I can say is that this firelapping system has worked on three of my rifles.....one old and 2 new. Good luck and regards, Rick.
