RE: Which calibers to you reload for?
DM & cma3366a,
Thanks for finding the old thread, and I appologize for being redundant. I read the other thread, and there was some discussion about reloading for friends. Here's what I do. If my friends want me to load for them, instead of doing it for them, I invite them over to load their own ammo. I walk them through the processes, but they do all the work. They buy their own components, and I supply instructions and the use of my equipment. A few have been hooked, and have bought their own equipment. Others are really appreciative, and come over once a year to load ammo with me. It's been a good thing, and I've never had anyone blame for bad loads, losing game, etc. Is there anything wrong with what I'm doing, in the legal sense? |
RE: Which calibers to you reload for?
ShatoDavis,
Impressive list of calibers! A friend is starting to load for his .338 RUM. What powder have you gotten the best results with? He wants to use IMR 4350, but I thought a slower powder might be better. What do you use? |
RE: Which calibers to you reload for?
I would not think so. As long as they know that they are responsible for selecting their own load. Sounds like the best way to do it.

I will consult our notes and confirm. |
RE: Which calibers to you reload for?
Just getting back into reloading this year. The 204 ruger is my passion at present. And the little 17 HM2 & 17 HMRI suppose are responsible for getting me back into the shooting game. Just love the ability to reach out & shoot flys at 125 yards w a low recoil firearm.
204 ruger 223 rem 22-250 6mm rem 270 win 30-06 suppose one could say, I reload for archery as well as I enjoy building my own arrows;) & 12ga |
