Seems like steve 4102 has identified your problem. It has nothing to do with soft primers, loose pockets, or high pressures! It is likely that the key to your problem is the "fairly low" pressure of your current loads.

Use a medium-heavy load with a fairly fast powder like IMR 4064, IMR 4320, or WW748 and I'll bet this primer protrusion will stop! I don't think gluing in your primers is what is necessary.

What happens is (BELIEVE IT OR NOT!!) that the explosion of the primer actually forces the case forward a little in the chamber, (actually shortening the case a tiny bit from head to shoulder!!) allowing the primer to protrude from the pocket slightly, and the pressure resulting from the powder burn is insufficient to slam the case head back against the bolt face, restoring the case to its' original dimensions and reseating the primer. This is, in effect, an artificially induced excessive headspace condition caused by a low-pressure powder charge. This is the reason why reloaders are advised to set aside cases that they use for reduced, cast-bullet loads and only use those cases for suchloads in the future......

Try a heavier load, and let us know what happens!

this is covered in the lee modern reloading manual. It is usualy caused by low pressure loads and leads to dangerosly stretched cases

It's an autoloader, so I don't think it actually slams aganst the bolt face all that hard. The cases are not being streched perminatly, measuring them after being fired they are not streched. 60 grains of rl15 is the max load although data supports being able to go higher, I have shot 50 or so round of lower grain rounds and not had this problem, They were CCI primers, all this is leading me to the primers being too soft and inertia causing them to push out, also they are not flattening.

Yes. This is the trouble with book "MAX LOADS". No two manuals give the same data for their max loads-except by the merest coincidence.

Doesn't suprise me either, i did work this load carefully and alliant list it 60 grains with hornady 200's. I have some with CCI primers I will use for the season and figure the pushed primer primer out later, I did seal them and expect they will not push out now, just not enought time to find out.
