I have used them for many years although I have tried different bullets more of late. However in the thousands of them that I have used for hunting and Match shooting, I can't say that even one bullet performed less than very good. How many have used these bullets a lot for hunting and how have they performed for accuracy and terminal performance? I don't thin there is a better non-premium bullet.

I HAND LOAD THE 165 HORNADY SP INTERLOCK IN MY 30-06 USING 45 GRAINS OF IMR 3031 AND OVER THE LAST 37 YEARS I CAN SAY THIS BULLET HAS TAKEN OVER 100 PLUS WHITETAILS THAT NEVER WENT MORE THEN 25 YARDS AFTER THE BULLET WAS PLACED IN THE BOILER ROOM
I CAN ALSO NEVER I NEVER HAD AN EXIT WOUND AND ALWAYS WOULD STOP EXITING THE DEER HIDE
I ALSO AT THE BENCH WITH MY HANDI 06 FIND 3 SHOTS JUST UNDER 7/8" AT THE 100 YD TARGET

I've never had a problem with the interlocks. I've loaded them in .243, .270, 7mm and .30 cal. They have shot well and have taken a bunch of game. Some of my rifles shoot other bullets more accurately but I can't argue about the reliability of the interlocks on deer sized game. I can't say the same for their SSTs though.

For medium game like deer and antelope, I would choose the interlock every time. In the heavy weights like the 190 grain 308, The interlock also works well for Big tough Game. They just work everytime out. Great bullets. Never had one fail on any size game. I have used the heavy 308 caliber interbonds but didn't really see any advantage.

You all likeInnerlocks better than i do...
I started out useing them in a .243 Win. (100 grain) on whitetails... They lost there cores even on rib shots and any bullet that looses it's core won't penetrate much after that. I quit useing them in6mm after harvesting 4 or 5 deer...
I've had 139 grain 7mm's over expand out of a 7 mag... On bigger animials i've had the 250 grain loose it's core out of the .338 Mag. and 340 Wby...
Also on deer out of a 30-06 the same thing happened so i gave up on them and moved on....
I've had very few brands/styles of bullets fail to give good to very good accuracy over the years, and the HornandysWERE good in that way....
The only one that was hard to get to shoot well was the 7 mag. with the 139's and that rifle was probable just picky... I remember switching to 140 NP's and takeing a nice dall sheep a short time later. They did so much better that i stayed with them in that rifle from then on.
Of course, if you use heavier bullets, or don't push them too fast, or use heavy bullets for the size game you hunt, i'm sure they will work much better then, than they did for me..
