the SST is a light jacketed bullet and is a fine whitetail bullet.
Use the same powders for the SST as you would the same bullet of the same weight of any brand.

I use IMR 4895 for the SST 's in 150 gr bullets. I also use Federal Primers with my setup. I am currently switching my bullets to Nosler and Federal ballistic tips just because of the better quality in the managment of make of the bullets, in my opinion.

type of powder will be a personal preference and or opinion. But personally like hodgdon varget and 4895 for my 150 to 165 grain loads.
