I am aware thatIMRPowders were once Dupont Powders. Does anybody have a list of Dupont Powders, or did IMR keep all the original powder names?
Thanks in advance.

IMR is now owned by Hodgdon... all of the numbers have remained the same and the IMR designation is still in place

Rootsy is right, but remember when and if you reload and i assume you do,just because Hodgons owns IMR and the numbers haven,t changed, DON,T get mixed up with H numbers and IMR numbers. Like 430,4831 as examples. vangunsmith

I realize IMR and Hdogdon share powder numbers. I found a 1965 P.O Ackley book and it calls for Dupont Powders. Thanks.

I was going to try a 180 gr Hornady SP with 42.0 to 44.0 grs. of Dupont 3031 (IMR 3031) in my .30.06 Sprg. It's not going very fast, butI know Hodgdon does not have 3031.
Does your olderP.O.Ackley manuals differentiae between Hodgdon and Dupont, or have a list of powders he is using? I have been compairing Ackley's loads to modern loads, so not to make a mistake. I think I will call RCBS and Sierra may be they can help. Thanks.
