RE: Hornady Custom dies
If you ordered the "Hornady Custom Grade New Dimension Dies", you should be reciving a "Full Length Die Set".My "Hornady 2005 Catalog" does not show a Neck Sizer comes with the die set. You can Neck Size with your Full Length Sizer if you adjustit right, but using the Neck Sizer is easer. You can purchase a Hornady "Dimension Neck Size Die for the .300 Win. Mag. (Item No. 044045) for $20.48 each. Go to www.hornady.com or call 1-800-338-3220 for more info.
NOTE:
Any Full-Length resizing die will Neck-Size if you set it back about .060 of an inch from touching the shell holder with the press in the full "UP" position. (I have never used these instructions; I have always purchased Neck Sizing Dies).
Good luck.

RE: Hornady Custom dies
If you go to just neck sizing make sure all the shells you reload were shot out of your gun! And if your using new brass, you should full lenght resize. IMHO you,ll be better off in the long run to just full lenght resize. Neck sizing is just really for the seriious, serious benchrest shooters. But its your choice, and a lot of people do it,and swear by it. have fun vangunsmith
