Bergara B-14 HMR

Rifle Bergara B-14 HMR 6.5 Creedmoor. Load 42.4 gr of H4350, Hornady 143 gr ELDX, CCI 200 primer. Last week I had a patch stuck in my bore and had to take the rifle to the gunsmith to get it out. He got the patch/jag/rod out and polished the bore. He said there was no damage to the bore. I switched scopes from the Mueller 8-32x to a Vortex Diamondback 4-12x which will be better suited for hunting. After a couple shots to get it close I shot this 5 shot group at 100 Meters (110 yards). Measures .625" C-C. I guess the bore is OK! I did make a scope adjustment and shot another target to confirm center of bull.
I'm still looking for a place to shoot out to about 600 yards. The only place I've found anywhere close to me is a pole line where that distance is possible.

I'm not complaining about this group. Not at .625" C-C. I'm sure it could have been tightened up with the 32x scope but the 4-12x is more suited as a hunting scope. And registering on Midway USA I got $100 knocked off the scope price for my birthday! And that's better than a sharp stick in the eye! Going to start looking for a DIY antelope hunt next year and this rifle is coming along.

RR thanks for the tip but it took me 6 months to develop this load for this rifle. It pretty much shoots 1/2 MOA all day long. This group was .625" C-C and that was with a bit of a crosswind. With the 32X Mueller scope on it I was punching .45" groups at 200 yards with it which calculates out to about 1/4 MOA. So I stocked up on H4350 and pick up bullets and primers when I can.
