Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

I can't recall a Canadian government shut down, though I do shake my head at their peculiar politically driven gun laws. Hunting wise their laws are much less restrictive than Michigan's. Aside from pistols that is.

2. Comparing Canada to America is comparing apples to oranges! The only reason Canada exists today is American help! For that matter, all of Western Europe exists today is America! Remember D-Day? Well, I don't recall D-day myself. But Canada was certainly there doing their part without complaint or brag. Which is their way...

3. Comparing one union lacky, in your case, with thousands of illegal aliens invading our border is comparing rotten apples to rotten oranges! Neither of which are worth much! Stopping thousands of illegal apples from invading, and us buying you a one way ticket to Canada, sounds like a great deal all around!
Wow. That last part is really venomous. ETOH maybe?

Where did I say you couldn't be happy? I just said it isn't all it is cracked up to be.

It's funny you insult them, when I'm sure they were very polite to you. (I'm also sure that was tough for them).

What insult? Canada has been sucking off the teat of America for a long time. Who do you think allows them to be so secure with such a small military? We do. Who do you think it is that props up their economy? We do. They benefit without paying the bills. Pointing out the obvious is only an insult to LIBS.

I know as an intelligent fellow you understand irony. So tell me what you think about a group who on one hand screams and cries about a caravan of the down trodden coming to our borders seeking a better life. Saying they should stay home and make their own country better. Then they turn around and tell another fellow to go where he perceives the grass is greener. Rather than attempt to make his own country better? Ironic???

I'm intelligent enough to know that the USA cannot absorb every human on earth that wants a better life. They should try to fix their own nation rather than try to tear mine down. Even a rather clueless LIB such as yourself can see the validity in that. If you want to bankroll them then there is nothing stopping you from sending a check to them. But you have no right to expect me to send them one. Have you sent one? If not, why?
Ya just can't expect common sense fromany LIB.
