Catholic Church Lists Climate Change As No. 1 Pro-life Issue

I Didnt realize they where so involved in the man made climate change issue & spreading that message( they been watching cosmos 3?).

So millions of humans have been aborted(killed by choice( except places like china- how many there alone?)- whats the worse case expected outcome of manmade global warming?(besides longer growing seasons, ,more crops in norther lattatuides, less money & energy needed to heat homes? ) But i guess if all natural disasters are now claimed to be man made( as seems to be the trend-) Guess those to will be controled along with the global climate hmm :rolleye0011:http://www.designntrend.com/articles...life-issue.htm

From the same site- Science( maybe its just me or how its written- seems abit odd)

Climate Change Is Not Uniform And Leads To Warming And Cooling Of Planethttp://www.designntrend.com/articles/13534/20140505/climate-change-is-not-uniform-and-leads-to-warming-and-cooling-of-planet.htm

This is based on an editorial in "The National Catholic Reporter."

It's not an official announcement by the Church. Some people do like the idea of the Church being involved in liberal politics.

not taking a stance either way, but suppose prolifer's are wrong about climate change and the scientist are right. Wouldn't that be worse than abortion if it killed millions. They have a point.

Which scientist are you speaking of? The small group of them who push global warming because their living depends on it or the larger group that calls it a hoax?

last I heard about 90% agree. I'm not fully convinced myself, but the weather has been pretty wacky. Is it natural nature? not what they are saying. Can you do anything you want to the atmosphere and planet without any change? no I don't think so.

49 Former NASA Scientists Send A Letter Disputing Climate Change

Some prominent voices at NASA are fed up with the agency's activist stance toward climate change.
The following letter asking the agency to move away from climate models and to limit its stance to what can be empirically proven, was sent by 49 former NASA scientists and astronauts.

The letter criticizes the Goddard Institute For Space Studies especially, where director Jim Hansen and climatologist Gavin Schmidt have been outspoken advocates for action.

The press release with attached letter is below.

Why Doesn’t Greenpeace Demand a Congressional Probe of James Hansen’s Outside Income?

NASA records released to resolve litigation filed by the American Tradition Institute reveal that Dr. James E. Hansen, an astronomer, received approximately $1.6 million in outside, direct cash income in the past five years for work related to — and, according to his benefactors, often expressly for — his public service as a global warming activist within NASA.

This does not include six-figure income over that period in travel expenses to fly around the world to receive money from outside interests. As specifically detailed below, Hansen failed to report tens of thousands of dollars in global travel provided to him by outside parties — including to London, Paris, Rome, Oslo, Tokyo, the Austrian Alps, Bilbao, California, Australia and elsewhere, often business or first-class and also often paying for his wife as well — to receive honoraria to speak about the topic of his taxpayer-funded employment, or get cash awards for his activism and even for his past testimony and other work for NASA.

Ethics laws require that such payments or gifts be reported on an SF278 public financial disclosure form. As detailed, below, Hansen nonetheless regularly refused to report this income.

Yep, like I said, their living depends on it.

Here is a list of scientists who do not support AGW.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scienti...global_warming

Here's another article by prominent scientists who don't believe in AGW.

(This one takes forever to load.)

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Governm...Global-Warming

And here's an article in Forbes about a peer-reviewed survey suggesting that a majority of scientist and engineers do NOT support AGW.

There are more articles, but you get the idea.

Of course the mainstream media never cites these findings, only the Chicken Little prattlings.
