Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

I honestly don't think the core republicans are his problem. Who else would they vote for? Obama? I think his problem is that he couldn't win over the independents who voted for Bush in 2000 and 2004. They just got sick of anything related to Bush, which includes anyone running under the same party, thus they will vote for Obama be it for the better or worse.

One thing that I really said "what" about is when McCain stated he wanted miloitary people to be able to become teachers with out having to take those tests or get those credentials that some states require. That is going to improve education how exactly?

We need to encourage programs such as Teach for America and Troops to Teachers, where people, after having served in the military, can go right to teaching and not have to take these examinations, which -- or have the certification that some are -- required in some states

that was in 1993 pal.[/blockquote]

First of all Junior I am not your PAL. Yes my signature very clearly says 1993 and it was attributed to him. I guess he has voted pro-gun since then is that correct Junior?
[/blockquote]

funny how you condescendingly cal me Junior, also funny how you get offended when I call you "pal." You surely fall right in line with your candidate and the "if you don't agree with me I'll throw a fit" I'm "junior" and you get offended when I call you something that most would consider, dare I say it, friendly. Who's the immature one?

This after you found the Biden statement offending

Has Biden voted pro-gun since then, depends on your definition of pro-gun but he has not voted to take guns away from law abiding citizens.

Oh I don't know what do you think ? Come on you tell me

On education we already spend more on it then any other country with nothing to show for it and he wants to spend more on it. Now who is out of touch? [/blockquote]

Are we going to spend less? Are you familiar with the educational systems here in America at all? Americans go to school less than students in most other developed countries and, in high schools, are exposed to fewer subjects and subject matter. Can we solve that by spending less?

Yes we spend more then any other country in the world and we have worse results in science and math . Somehow spending more will help this? Throw more money at the problem hasn't solved it. Yes our students go to school less thenstudents doin other developed countries and these countriesspend less on their education then we do. What is your logic here? Oh I know you don't know what the xxx your talking about again? Are you not a product of our educational system? I rest my case

Didn't anyone else notice in the beginning when Obama said he was going to raise taxes on people making over $200k? Then a while after he said $250k...which is it?

No the dummy keeps changing numbers and throwing out meaningless numbers like 5,000,000 automotive jobs and varying percentages every time he opens his mouth.

slip of the tongues and mental mistakes happen. Kind of like McCain's reference to a "freath of bresh air"

It was less of a toothless dog fight and more like a worm wrasll. Obama ducked and covered, as he should have. He had everything to lose. McCain showed some life, but did get long winded and bounced from thought to thought at times. McCain made a better showing than the first two, but over all, I heard nothing new. Everything that was talked about, were issues that we all know already.

I'm voting for McCain, but thought he looked a little incoherent tonight. I think Obama really made some political hay with the manner in which he answered many of the questions (no matter the substance (which is not ofthen understood by many anyways)). He said " 1......2.....3....." and seemed to express much more detail than McCain. I thought Mccain made a few good points and jabs here and there but overall came off as desperate. I hated that McCain opened talking about bailing out homeowners...made me cringe.

"Before the debate 2/3 of Americans said they though McCain was running a negative campaign, during the debate he tried to convince the other 1/3 the same thing" (not verbatim)

I donated the maximum to his campaign.
you donate to pro-abortion, anti-gun, pro-socialism .... you must sleep very well man []
Why insult a man for his beliefs?
1) Pro-abortion: does not exist, you guys seem to not understand that. Pro-choice deals with NOT wanting the gov't to have the right to make the decision for a woman. What about this don't you all get?
2) anti-gun: Stricter gun control? Less buying on impulse? Buying fewer guns over shorter time period? Probably yes, yes, yes. Coming to your house and taking your guns away? Get real.
3) Pro-socialism: Obama's beliefs are fundamentally democratic. 8 years of bushonomics seem to have made people forget this and throw the socialist label at Obama.

Yes we spend more then any other country in the world and we have worse results in science and math . Somehow spending more will help this? Throw more money at the problem hasn't solved it. OEH, I guess you're right. We should spend less, keep the same ol' high school teachers that aren't getting the job done and hold ourselves to an overall lower standard. What would you suggest ol' omniscient one? How are we going to imrpove such things without a little spending?

Are you this difficult all the time. WE SPEND MORE THEN ANY OTHER COUNTRY ON EDUCATION BY FAR. Maybe just Maybe we should rethink how we do things.

Spoken like a true far left shallow-thinker. The terrorists "believe" that beheading innocent American citizens and playing a video for all to see is an acceptable course of action. But hey, let us speak softly of them that we might not offend their delicate sensibilities, eh?

Amazing. Just amazing. It seems we must continuously educate our youth as to what happened in the relatively recent past.
