Oh yeah, we were there Dec 567 at Nouchimi Saw them from Rupert River all the way to LG4 but only saw 3 in 22b in 3 days and they were right at LaForge dam. On the way home we saw over 1000 in 22A on the Trans Taiga Rd and more on the James Bay Rd. We lost an alternator and had to go into Radisson before we headed home and they were there too!

Cant wait till next time though! We'll go to Mirage and we'll go earlier.

The last thing you want is to be broken down up there. I seen some guys leave broken down trailers down there, never to retrieve them, just too far and too expensive to get them back into civilization. One of my buddies brought a brand new ford 250 upthere, started working funny towards the cutoff for LG4, went up to Radisson only to find out the engine was blown, good thing it was new, called up is dealer in Rouyn Noranda and the next day, the dealer drove one up for him, for his return trip Home.

One of the guys in our cabin lost his only key to his ford truck last year. He called his wife in Boston who contacted a dealer in Val D'Or and sent up a key with the caterer. It extended his trip by a couple of days:D He was lucky that his truck was diesel otherwise it would have been a computer chip on the key and it would have taken several more days to get it. This year he had several extra keys!!!

It was big one too! Imagine what his gas bill was at $1.25 per liter?

Mirage also has a toll free number, 866-339-6202. When you call get on the cancellation list and call back every five days or so. The deposit is due Jan. 25th, cancellations start to show up after that.
