good luck on your hunts Got a hunch!! I am glad to see others are thinking about hunting this time of year. I have been checking out this forum daily and I thought everyone was gone fishing!!!
I start Lobster fishing next week but I am thinking hunting everyday...Later ,Rodney.

Thanks Brian. I hope you can join us too. Hopefully the economy and everything else will straighten out by then. A lot of guys held off this year because of the uncertainty. I'll let you know how Copper and I make out on the fly in.

We're flying in with Luco the last week in September. My hunting partner has gone with them before and had good luck. Not as luxurious as Mirage but less expensive. Winter hunt will always be with Mirage though.

Hi Guys , just received a "Disallowance of Refund Claim" notice for our GST Tax from the winter caribou hunt 2007 , first time in all the years we have filed. Then I head that Quebec has stopped giving out refunds for GST tax ... ( hope thats not true) Hasanyonereceived thereGST tax refund ?
If you have,could you post the web site as to where to get the rebate form.[&o]

Stopped 01 APR 2007 - all consumers cannot get this tax back. If you are an outfitter and present your self to the CTR office in this aspect you might and this is what I am trying now - just split it with te guys comming back this year if I get anything at all. Years back, with a group of 8-10, 1 trip was covered with the rebate. Don't worry - dollar is geting stronger and soon we will have our 30% rebate automatically like in years past.

Nord is Right,, NO MORE refunds ,was up last fall ,,doubled checked on the way back ,they stopped it in April 2007 .Just imagine how much moneyCanada isgetting from the Americans from these taxes ,

Talk about bad news, we use the refund for the gas money kitty ...sure could have used it this year with the gas prices the way they are. thanks again guys!
