RE: Bow hunters from Barrie ?
I am from Mississauga. I usually bowhunt just outside the Orillia area (WMU 75). I would love to bowhunt around Barrie. There are some pretty sweet spots, all appear to be private land and I have been too lazy to ask as of yet. Why, do you need someone to hunt with you in Barrie? Sign me up.

StealthyOne, I really don't need anyone, only I'm a lone bowhunter and just wondered what there was for guys in the area. Thinking sometime I just may team up with some others and have a hunt. This year my season was ended fast do to the snowmoble trails and the grumer banked up snow across the roads to stop traffic. I would have had to walk 2 miles in to get to my stands. A complaint was made. The season ended here Dec. 15th...BT

I bowhunt by myself too for several reasons: If I spook deer, it is my fault. If I spot a big buck, it is mine to pursue.
However, I have this one place that I hunt where it would be beneficial to have someone in my other stand - 100 yards away. I have patterned the deer and they use 1 of 2 trails past one of my 2 stands in the area.
If you have an area like this and need someone to help, I am in. I am scentless, quiet and sneaky......
Either way,
Merry Christmas!
