Are there any good areas to hunt elk in Canada.

Alberta and BC have lots of them.

As redgreen mentioned we have a ton of elk out here, I am in norhern BC, and pretty much any direction can get me into decent elk hunting within a 3 hr drive

I am very curious about land owners posting " no hunting " signs on private land. If the sign is posted does this mean there is absolutely no hunting, even including the land owner . Can i hunt if i have total permission from the land owner when the sign is posted? !!! Thanks for any input .

If the land is posted no hunting, then even the land owner cannot hunt on it. If it is posted no hunting without permission, then the land owner and guests can hunt the property. A no hunting posting changes the land area to game preserve status.
