otis; if you didn' t mind moving to 84 the Rankin Wildlife Management area is a good public area. The nice thing about 82a is the second tag. You can contact the MNR in Owen Sound to find out which conservation/wildlife areas allow deer hunting in 82a.

otis; if you check the regulations, you can guarantee your muzzleloader hunt by buying the second tag for 82a in august. It may only be a buck tag but it' ll get you out of the house. Archery is open there from early Oct. to the end of the year so you don' t have to wait for the ML season to start using the tag.

Going up this weekend to pick up my belongings,, and check a couple properties that are for sale, then leasing a 400 acre ranch for this gun season.(lease is $300 for the entire property for a week)
Otis depends what you are looking for,, the property I was hunting was 600 acres with 2 miles of lakefront it sold for 750k, it will be split up into smaller lots and they will double there money. lakefront 7-10 acres is about 40-50k. Im going to look at 3 different properties while up there.
100 acres of hardwoods and pastureland,, with a small hunt shack 20-22k.
another is 86 acres, 250' of waterfront 38.5k (bad access)
the third and one im very intrested in is 200 acres of hardwood and cedar with a cabin,, 55.9k.
