ontario hunter; I admire you' re conviction. I' ll make my views known to the candidate that runs in our area. It may not be a good political decision for the alliance to get attached to what would be seen in the urban centers as an extreme organization. The Alliance have said that they will repeal the law and that' s good enough for me. As an election issue the gun laws will be used by the Liberals in urban areas.

ontario hunter; you don' t have to hide, but you don' t need to protest with a big sign either. There is nothing more intimidating to urbanites than a large group of gunowners protesting about guns. If we could get them involved with the sport or show them in some way our responsible use of firearms it might help. The people who got charged for protesting the laws the day after they were enacted may be respected by gun owners but they' re seen as extremists by the media and non gun owners. Find a political party that supports your views and support it.
