Manitobans in Deer rifle contest?
Went in it for the first time last year and there were only 3 of us that ever checked in. I harvested a mid sized 4x4 with a rack that would have maybe scored 100 so I never bothered to submit it. After seeing the results it might have put my team of 3 guys over the top. I hope that if placed on a team this year at least half the guys check in. Maybe we should ask for a Manitoba contingent. Are any other of you guys submitting your names?

I seem to recall something about that contest but what are the details?
I may have a lot of free time to hunt white-tails this year and I'm do for a big one.

Basicly you put your name on a list in the deerhunting forum (copy and then paste with your name and location at the end of the list then repost). In mid July/Aug they put you on a team of about 10 hunters. The then will post the rules, not much really, then they have you post a pic of you, deer, and gun, with the b/c scoring system of rack(they post it also) and team with most inches win. Problem was for me last year was alot of my team didn't even check in when the teams were chosen. I think they are looking in to doing something about it next year. Give it a shot Duffy.
