Default Cabelas out West?

Anyone know if Cabelas is ever going to open a store out west, either in the US or even up here in Canada? I can't believe they don't have enough of a consumer base out West to operate a store. Here's a thought, if anyone has the coin I'd be willing to help open one up here. Now who's in JDinAB

The closest Cabelas we have opened last year in East Grand Forks Minn. which is 3 hours south of us here in Winnipeg. Sometimes they even have CDN at parr sales in the spring.

That would be awesome! Too bad thats about a day trip for me....send me an e-mail if you hear about another sale like that anytime soon, it's worth the drive if the dollar stays like this. JDinAB

RBDUCK, is it really worth the trip? Also have you had problems crossing the border? I guess it depends what you buy..

The CDN at par sale is not for everythin in the store. It is only for merchandise in the bargain cave. So if they have what you are looking for in the cave then it most certainly is worth the 2 hr drive. With the excetption of the ML' s there isn' t anything that you can' t get across the CDN border. You only need to tell the US customs guys your going down for the CDN at par sale, and they have always waved us through with only a quick look in the trunk! Mind you none of us wear wrap around cowboy hats.
