new land to hunt for mulies...saw a BIG pronghorn that the pic wasn't that clear on 11x zoom, but his hors were about twice the size of his ears. I don't know much about them but he looked huge compared to the others we saw.

Great Pictures JD
Man I love that country,I'll be back next year, darn are their mulies down their or what,LMAO,by the way ,what kind of snake was that? IS their many down in that area? We didn't see a one and it was snake country just by looking at it.Your area looks a little more rugged with the badlands and all, compared to the coulies we hunted. Still tough land to hunt with out getting spotted ,specialy by those Pronghorneseyesight, they can see over 10 miles with calarity. There just a very suspisious animal;). We had tons of pheasant's and grouse around camp, was nothing to go out and scare up 30 grouse 20 yards in front of camp and a few pheasants. A bird hunter's paradise:D.Well best of luck to you JD with the rest of your season bud and remember, hook up your safety belt when up the tree.[&:] Rocky |
