I guess you got the new General, or is it a mathews? Any ways nice bow, can he pull it back yet LOL?j/k How was Vegas and what made you by the bow you did? Was the show good that you went to , or was it the new bass outlett there that you went to ? If it's a Bowtech you got, then welcome to the Bowtech family.

I see it's the Drenilin ,I was actually thinking that's what it was as I'm really not to familier with them. Have a freind who bought one last year and traded it after a few weeks for a switch back as he thought he liked it till he started to shoot it more. He became less liking it as it felt like he was getting to much noise from it. I guess it's upto his own opinion. I sure like the feel of his new swithback. The only reason I was thinking it was a Denelin was the cable rollersholding the strings. I had it mixed up with the cable catcherthat the new bowtech are starting to put on some of their bows. Best of luck on your new bow bud andwas their much of a differencein price from State side to here in Alberta ?Nice getting the $102 to the American dollar for a change. It's been so long since I new what that was like. I remember going to Buffalo to buy school clothes for the start of school as the dollar was about the same worth back then.
Am I giving away my age LOL .

Rocky, Vegas was great...Sun & fun & lots of shopping at Bass pro. 2 or 3 times at least. As for shows we saw Zumanity and it was dirty & funny, just right though. The prices on some things are rediculous. I just came back from Wholesales tonight (to compare) and here's the differences:
Cobra site - BPS ($50) Here ($70-80)
Scentlok Camo pants - BPS ($75) Here ($169)
Columbia upland pants - BPS ($45) Here ($125)
Merell Hiking boots - DSW ($40) Here ($225)
You don't have to be a math prof to see the diff[X(]and I bought an entire work wardrobe for 1/10 of what it would cost here. I did stay under my $750 limit so that tells you something. As for bows, they didn't have the ones I was interested in there and after doing a ton of research, the new ones are pretty comparible to here.
As for what it is you were close...it's a 08 DXT, similar to the dren but a little shorter A-A. I ended up getting it for $799. I shot all the Bowtechs and slowly weeded out the things I didn't like till it came down to the General, Guardian & DXT. I hated the location of the string stopper on the General & weight (but it was the most dead in the hand hands down), the A-A on the Guardian was a little long for me and the small grip didn't feel good to me (must be my old Hoyt that screwed me up). I was sold when I was consistantly putting 2/3 in the bull @ 20 yds without sights WTF:D?? Also I found the draw a little harsher on the Bowtechs due to the cam. The 101st & Alig were nice but I found them to slap loudly also (just my opinion). Anyhow after a good hr. shooting them all I fell in love with the DXT,it is quiet and compact and everything I am looking for in a good Hunting rig. I must say it really is important to try out as many as you can and don't be a brand basher/lover. Every bow is different in it's own way and I never thought I would buy the Mathews. FYI they are all in the same price range $769-799 so that had no bearing in my decision. Now I got to find a quiver & arrows & stab. & ...:DI love new toys! Hope the off season is treating everyone well. Lets start seeing some shed pics fellas!!

YF, it's been dropping like a stone the past few days around home. In the open country it's really going, in the busharound here still 1-2' though. The weatherman say plus temps for a week and even some rain next week. If that holds true we'll have lots dirt showing, though getting anywhere will be the next thing!

Good luck shedding next week.

JD my partner says the DXTis the chit! He just put slop down on one today at the SWF Sports and Leisure show..damn I wish i could shoot right handed still;)
