YF,
I will be leaving from the Kenora area. I'm only about 3 hrs from WPG so I won't have nearly the drive you did![8D]

:DLMAO, we didn't get out of Ontario till after 17 hours of driving, man I thought we were going to be toast on our 1st posting, they only gave us 2 days to get here and most of it was through Ontario. Thought we were going to be awol on our 1st posting.Dang that was a long time ago. Once you get past Thunder Bay it's not all that bad till you hit Saskatchewan, man that is one boring ride, no trees ,no hills ,just praireis[:'(].Good luck and God Bless. Keep in touch.

Sadly i do have to agree. We do get a bad rep here because people pass through the south part of the province and think they have seen it all. Up north its a different story with hundreds of lakes and thick forest. I kind of find it humerous how my Manitoba friends here in Brandon tease me about being a gapper, flat lander etc. when around Brandon does not hold a candle to where i am from. But if your going that route from saskto calgary, better pound red bull to stay awake, at least ya can count antelope.:)

I drove from WI to Meadow Lake, SK last fall and I have to agree as well. The northern part of the state is awsome, but the south does get a little boring.
